For buyers
So now you have found your dream property in France this may be privately, via a Notaire or a French Immobilier. If you are buying privately then you may need someone to ensure that you and the owner of the property have a clear understanding of the price, what is being included etc. especially if they don’t speak any English!
In the UK Estate Agencies they would describe my ongoing services to buyers as a Sales Co-ordinator’s job. I can talk you through each stage of your purchase, including the paperwork you will be required to produce, package the information for the Notaire, and discuss dates and any special clauses that need to be put into the Compromis de Vente. I will then liaise with the Notaire throughout your sale and give you clear, regular and reliable updates as to the progress.
Fees – 1.5% of your purchase price (subject to a minimum fee of £1,500.00 or €1,800.00)

I charge an hourly rate of £25.00 or €30.00 – this includes phone calls, faxes, scanning documents and Skype which are charged by the minute. Mileage is charged at £0.20 or €0.25 per kilometre.
